VISITOR ARRIVALS October 2013
− Visitor arrivals increased by 2% year-on-year to 2,394,195; same-day visitors accounted for 53% of the total.
− Mainland visitors totalled 1,514,373, with 45% travelling to Macao under the Individual Visit Scheme. Decline in Japanese visitors narrowed to 16% year-on-year.
− The average length of stay of visitors stood at 1.0 day; overnight and same-day visitors stayed an average of 2.0 days and 0.2 day respectively.
