結果摘要

高等教育

y 在2011/2012學年開辦高等教育課程的機構共有10間。(表1)

y 學年終學生較上一學年增加4.4%至25,212名；女學生佔56.6%。(表1、2) y 修讀學士學位的學生有19,042名(75.5%)，修讀碩士及博士學位的分別有3,544

名(14.1%)及603名(2.4%)。(表2)

y 按學科劃分，最多學生(8,903名)修讀商業及管理課程，佔35.3%；當中會計及財務4,721名，商務貿易2,310名。修讀個人服務課程的有5,158名，以旅遊管理及服務(3,758名)和會展及旅遊(616名)的學生較多。(表3)

y 2011/2012學年畢業生有6,158名，較上一學年增加6.1%；本地生(4,227名)佔 68.6%。學士畢業生有4,350名，碩士及博士畢業生各有764名及81名。(表4) y 高等教育機構學年終共有1,982名教學人員，較上一學年減少5.1%；男性佔

幼兒、小學及中學教育

y 2011/2012學年提供幼兒、小學及中學教育的機構共71間，其中60間提供免費教育。(表10)

y 學年終小學生有22,735名，中學生有35,353名，較上一學年分別減少4.6%及 3.9%。因出生人數回升，幼兒教育學生數目連續四年增加，較2010/2011學年再增9.7%至11,960名。(表5)

y 幼兒教育每班平均人數為26.3人，小學及中學教育分別為27.6人及33.0人。(表 1)

y 全學年共有1,355名離校學生，較上一學年減少44名；初中離校生有572名，

高中有387名。因退學而離校的初中生及高中生分別佔33.0%及30.5%，因往外地就學而離校的比例分別為14.3%及18.9%。(表7)

y 就學率方面，幼兒教育為92.1%、小學為99.3%、中學為97.6%。(表1)

y 小學及中學教育的升級率均較上一學年增加0.6個百分點至94.6%及87.8%。

特殊教育

y 2011/2012學年專門提供特殊教育的機構共有4間，公立1間、私立3間；另有4 間教育機構設有特殊班。(表10)

y 學年終學生有568名，較上一學年增加10名；男學生(365名)較多，佔64.3%；

就讀特殊班的學生佔56.0%(318名)。(表1)

y 學年終教師有113名，較上一學年增加2名。(表1)

回歸教育

y 2011/2012學年共12間機構提供回歸教育，公立3間、私立9間。(表10)

y 回歸教育學生人數持續下降，學年終學生較上一學年減少363名至2,519名；

小學回歸教育有250名(減少4名)，中學回歸教育有2,269名(減少359名)。(表1) y 學年終教師有259名，當中95.0%任教中學。(表1)

奬/助學金及貸學金

y 2011/2012學年由政府部門、銀行及基金會等機構發放的奬/助學金及貸學金較上一學年增加30.4%至14,112宗，總額增加30.9%至3.30億澳門元；其中貸學金6,445宗，金額為2.48億澳門元。(表11)

y 高等教育的人均奬/助學金金額約23,500澳門元，而貸學金約為38,500澳門元；中學生的人均奬/助學金約為700澳門元。(表11)

y 2012/2013學年高等教育機構維持10間；提供幼兒、小學及中學教育的機構為 71間，專門提供特殊教育的機構同樣為4間。

y 高等教育的註冊學生有27,776名；本地生(18,449名)佔66.4%。

y 幼兒、小學及中學教育的註冊學生共68,821名，特殊教育學生共582名。

y 高等教育共有教學人員1,914名，幼兒、小學及中學教師有4,974名，特殊教育則有96名。

二、詞彙註釋

註冊學生

指於參考學年的11月已在某一教育機構辦理入學手續之學生。

免費教育

免費教育在提供幼兒、小學、中學(包括職業技術)和特殊教育的公立，以及已納入免費教育系統的私立教育機構內實施。免費指免繳學費、補充服務費，以及有關報名、就讀、證書等方面的費用。

教育類別

高等教育：指透過理論、實踐等在科學、文化及技術領域提供的培訓教育；

高等教育包括大學教育及高等專科教育。

預科教育：為未符合高等教育入學條件人士而設的預備課程。

幼兒教育、小學教育、中學教育：指有系統的，且主要專為兒童及青少年開辦的，由幼兒教育至中學教育的課程。中學教育包括職業技術教育。

特殊教育：指為有需要人士提供適合其身心發展的受教育機會，包括為資優學生和身心存在障礙的學生(如精神、感官、身體、溝通等方面有特殊教育需要人士)所開辦的課程。

回歸教育：指向在適齡期內未修讀或未完成小學或中學教育人士提供的相應程度的教育。

就學率

指就讀於某一教育程度的註冊學生人數，與應就讀該程度的指定年齡的年終人口之比。

就讀幼兒教育的指定年齡為 3-5 歲、小學 6-11 歲、中學 12-17 歲，而高等教育為 18-22 歲。

升級率/畢業率

升級/畢業學生人數與學年終學生人數之比；高等教育只計算畢業率。

師生比

以參考學年11月資料計算的教師與註冊學生人數之比。

三、其他

幼兒、小學及中學教育的教師可能會同時教授不同程度的課程，故統計表中分項之和會不等於總數。

Síntese de resultados

Ensino superior

y No ano lectivo de 2011/2012 existiam em Macau 10 instituições que organizaram cursos de ensino superior. (Ver quadro 1)

y O número de alunos no final do ano lectivo de 2011/2012 totalizou 25.212, ou seja, subiu 4,4% comparativamente ao final do ano lectivo 2010/2011. Salienta-se que 56,6% dos alunos pertenciam ao sexo feminino. (Ver quadros 1 e 2)

y Dos alunos, havia 19.042 alunos (75,5%) que frequentaram cursos de licenciatura, 3.544 (14,1%) cursos de mestrado e 603 (2,4%) cursos de doutoramento. (Ver quadro 2)

y Analisando por cursos, salienta-se que no final do ano lectivo em causa havia 8.903 (35,3%) alunos que frequentaram cursos de comércio e gestão, destes alunos 4.721 frequentaram cursos de contabilidade e finanças, e, 2.310 estudaram cursos de comércio. Por seu turno, havia 5.158 alunos que frequentaram cursos de serviços pessoais, nomeadamente, 3.758 estudaram cursos de gestão e serviços de turismo, e, 616 frequentaram cursos sobre convenções e turismo. (Ver quadro 3)

y No ano lectivo de 2011/2012, registaram-se 6.158 finalistas nas instituições de ensino superior, isto é, mais 6,1%, relativamente ao ano lectivo de 2010/2011. Os alunos residentes (4.227) perfizeram 68,6% do total. De entre finalistas havia 4.350 licenciados, 764 mestrados e 81 doutorados. (Ver quadro 4)

y O pessoal docente no final do ano lectivo de 2011/2012 era constituído por 1.982 docentes, o que traduz um a redução de 5,1%, relativamente ao ano lectivo de 2010/2011. Realça-se que 64,9% dos docentes eram do sexo masculino. (Ver quadros 1 e 8)

Ensinos infantil, primário e secundário

y No ano lectivo de 2011/2012 existiam no Território 71 instituições que ministraram os ensinos infantil, primário e secundário, das quais 60 aderiram ao sistema de escolaridade gratuita. (Ver quadro 10)

y No final do ano lectivo em análise, o número de alunos dos ensinos primário e secundário atingiu 22.735 e 35.353, respectivamente, tendo descido 4,6% e 3,9%, respectivamente. O número de alunos do ensino infantil subiu durante quarto anos consecutivos, registando-se 11.960 alunos, ou seja, mais 9,7% em comparação com o ano lectivo 2010/2011, devido ao crescimento do número de nascimentos. (Ver quadro 5)

y A dimensão média da turma dos ensinos infantil, primário e secundário situou-se nas 26,3;

27,6 e 33,0 pessoas, respectivamente. (Ver quadro 1)

y No ano lectivo de 2011/2012 saíram 1.355 alunos das instituições de ensino, menos 44 em comparação com o ano lectivo 2010/2011. Entre estes alunos 572 eram do ensino secundário geral e 387 alunos do ensino secundário complementar. As razões para a saída de alunos foram: a "Desistência dos estudos" de 33,0% de estudantes do ensino secundário geral e de 30,5% de estudantes do ensino secundário complementar, e, o "Estudar fora de Macau" de 14,3% dos primeiros e 18,9 % dos segundos. (Ver quadro 7)

y A taxa de escolarização para o ensino infantil, primário e secundário foi de 92,1%, 99,3% e 97,6%, respectivamente. (Ver quadro 1)

y A taxa de aproveitamento dos ensinos primário e secundário atingiu 94,6% e 87,8%, respectivamente, ou seja, cada mais 0,6 pontos percentuais. (Ver quadro 1)

y Nos ensinos infantil, primário e secundário havia 5.134 docentes no final do ano lectivo, ou seja, mais 195 em relação ao ano lectivo de 2010/2011. Constatou-se que 73,8% dos docentes eram do sexo feminino. A mediana das idades dos docentes era 35,5 anos. (Ver quadros 1 e 9)

Ensino especial

y No ano lectivo de 2011/2012 existiam 4 instituições que ministravam somente o ensino especial, nomeadamente, 1 oficial e 3 particulares. Além daquelas, havia 4 instituições educativas que proporcionavam cursos de ensino especial. (Ver quadro 10)

y No final do ano lectivo em análise registaram-se 568 alunos, isto é, mais 10 do que no final do ano lectivo 2010/2011. Realça-se que 64,3% dos alunos eram do sexo masculino (365 alunos). Salienta-se que no final do ano lectivo em causa havia 318 (56,0%). (Ver quadro 1) y Havia 113 docentes que se dedicam ao ensino especial, mais 2 face ao ano lectivo

2010/2011. (Ver quadro 1)

Ensino recorrente

y No ano lectivo de 2011/2012 havia 12 instituições que proporcionavam cursos do ensino recorrente, sendo 3 oficiais e 9 particulares. (Ver quadro 10)

y No final do ano lectivo 2011/2012 havia 2.519 alunos, isto é, menos 363 face ao final do ano lectivo 2010/2011, tem-se verificado uma queda continua do número destes alunos.

Observaram-se 250 e 2.269 alunos nos ensinos primário e secundário, reduziram-se 4 e 359 em comparação com o final do ano lectivo 2010/2011. (Ver quadro 1)

y Dos 259 docentes do ensino recorrente, 95,0% leccionavam nas instituições secundárias.

Bolsas de estudo mérito e bolsas-empréstimo

y Durante o ano lectivo de 2011/2012, serviços governamentais, bancos, fundações, etc., concederam 14.112 bolsas de mérito/estudo e empréstimos, ou seja, mais 30,4% face ao ano lectivo 2010/2011, os quais atingiram o montante de 330 milhões de Patacas (+30,9%).

Destas 248 milhões de Patacas eram o valor dos 6.445 empréstimos a estudantes. (Ver quadro 11)

y O montante das bolsas de mérito/estudo por aluno do ensino superior equivalia a 23.500 Patacas e o montante de empréstimos por aluno correspondia a 38.500 Patacas. O montante das bolsas de mérito/estudo por aluno do ensino secundário foi de 700 Patacas. (Ver quadro 11)

y No ano lectivo de 2012/2013 o número de instituições do ensino superior manteve-se nos 10.

As instituições que ministraram os ensinos infantil, primário e secundário atingiram 71, e havia 4 instituições que ministravam somente o ensino especial.

y Os alunos matriculados no ensino superior totalizaram 27.776, dos quais 18.449 eram alunos residentes, que representavam 66,4% do total.

y Os alunos matriculados no ensino infantil, primário e secundário totalizaram 68.821 e os do ensino especial foram de 582.

y Verificaram-se 1.914 docentes do ensino superior, 4.974 no ensino infantil, primário e secundário, e, 96 no ensino especial.

2. EXPLICAÇÃO DE TERMOS

Aluno matriculado

Aquele que se encontra inscrito numa instituição de ensino em Novembro do ano lectivo.

Escolaridade gratuita

A escolaridade gratuita abrange as instituições oficiais que ministram os ensinos infantil, primário, secundário (incluindo ensino técnico-profissional) e especial, bem como as instituições particulares integradas no sistema de escolaridade gratuita. A gratuitidade traduz-se na isenção do pagamento de propinas e despesas de serviços complementares, bem como de outros encargos relativos à inscrição, frequência e certificação.

Tipo de ensino

Ensino superior: Formação académica leccionada nas áreas da ciência, cultura e tecnologia, sob forma teórica e prática. Inclui o ensino universitário e o ensino superior especializado.

Ensino pré-universitário: Cursos preparatórios dirigidos a estudantes que não reunem os reque sitos para ingressarem no ensino superior.

Ensinos infantil, primário e secundário: Destina-se a crianças e jovens, facultando a progressão sistemática desde o ensino infantil até ao ensino secundário. O ensino secundário inclui o ensino técnico-profissional.

Ensino especial: Proporciona aos educandos com necessidades educativas especiais oportunidades de acesso a uma educação adaptada ao seu desenvolvimento físico e psicológico, incluindo a organização de cursos para alunos sobredotados e com limitações físicas e psicológicas (tais como deficiências mentais, sensoriais, corporais e de comunicação).

Ensino recorrente: Concebido e planeado para estudantes que não frequentaram ou não completaram os ensinos primário ou secundário dentro da faixa etária correspondente a cada um dos ensinos.

Taxa de escolarização

É o rácio entre o número de alunos matriculados num determinado nível de ensino e a população existente no fim do ano que pretence ao grupo etário desse nível de ensino.

A idade específica para o nível de ensino infantil é dos 3 até aos 5 anos, para o primário é dos 6 aos 11 anos, para o secundário é dos 12 até aos 17 anos e para o superior é dos 18 aos 22 anos.

Taxa de aproveitamento/taxa de conclusão do curso

A taxa de aproveitamento é a relação entre os alunos aprovados/graduados e os alunos no final do ano lectivo. Para o ensino superior, usa-se a taxa de graduação.

Relação docente/discente

Refere-se à relação entre o número de alunos matriculados por docente em Novembro do ano lectivo.

3. OUTROS

Os docentes dos ensinos infantil, primário e secundário podem estar envolvidos em actividades de diferentes níveis de instrução, pelo que a soma das parcelas pode não corresponder ao total dos níveis ministrados.

Summary of results

Higher education

y In the 2011/2012 academic year, there were 10 institutions of higher education with courses offered. (Table 1)

y Number of students at the end of the academic year increased by 4.4% year-on-year to 25,212; female students accounted for 56.6%. (Table 1, 2)

y Among the students, there were 19,042 (75.5%) students studying for bachelor degree, 3,544 (14.1%) for master degree and 603 (2.4%) for doctoral degree. (Table 2)

y Analysed by field of study, the majority of students (8,903) were studying in Business and administration, accounted for 35.3%, with 4,721 majoring in accounting and finance, and 2,310 in commerce; meanwhile, 5,158 students were studying in Personal services, of which 3,758 were in tourism management and services, and 616 in event and tourism. (Table 3) y Number of graduates totalled 6,158 in the 2011/2012 academic year, up by 6.1%

year-on-year; local students (4,227) accounted for 68.6%. Among them, there were 4,350 bachelor degree graduates, 764 master degree graduates and 81 doctoral degree graduates.

Pre-primary, primary and secondary education

y In the 2011/2012 academic year, there were 71 institutions providing pre-primary, primary and secondary education, of which 60 provided free education. (Table 10)

y At the end of the academic year, number of primary and secondary students decreased by 4.6% and 3.9% to 22,735 and 35,353 respectively. Rising live births drove up the number of pre-primary students by 9.7% year-on-year to 11,960, marking four consecutive years of increase. (Table 5)

y Average class size for pre-primary, primary and secondary education was 26.3, 27.6 and 33.0 respectively. (Table 1).

y Number of drop-out students decreased by 44 year-on-year to 1,355, with 572 junior secondary students and 387 senior secondary students. As regards reasons to drop out, 33.0%

of the junior secondary students and 30.5% of the senior secondary students were to “Leave school”, while the respective proportions of 14.3% and 18.9% were to “Study abroad”.

Special education

y In the 2011/2012 academic year, there were 4 institutions designed and intended to provide special education, of which 1 was public and 3 were private; besides, 4 educational institutions also offered special education classes. (Table 10)

y Number of students at the end of the academic year increased by 10 year-on-year to 568, and 64.3% (365) were male. There were 56.0% (318) students studying in special education classes. (Table 1)

y Total number of teachers as at end of the academic year rose by 2 year-on-year to 113.

Recurrent education

y In the 2011/2012 academic year, there were 12 institutions providing recurrent education, of which 3 were public and 9 were private. (Table 10)

y Number of students at end of the academic year decreased further by 363 year-on-year to 2,519. There were 250 students of primary education and 2,269 of secondary education, down by 4 and 359 respectively year-on-year. (Table 1)

y Total number of teachers was 259 as at end of the academic year, with 95.0% engaging in secondary education. (Table 1)

Scholarship and student grants

y In the 2011/2012 academic year, number of student grants and loans conceded by government departments, banks, foundations, etc., increased by 30.4% year-on-year to 14,112 cases, with the total amount rising by 30.9% to MOP330 million. Among them, there were 6,445 cases of student loans, amounting to MOP248 million. (Table 11)

Summary data for the 2012/2013 academic year

y In the 2012/2013 academic year, number of higher education institutions remained at 10; a total of 71 institution were providing pre-primary, primary and secondary education, there were still 4 institutions designated in providing special education.

y Enrolled students in higher education totalled 27,776, with local students (18,449) accounting for 66.4%.

y Enrolled students in pre-primary, primary and secondary education totalled 68,821, and there were 582 students attending special education.

y Total number of teaching staff in higher education was 1,914; moreover, there were 4,974 teachers in pre-primary, primary and secondary education and 96 in special education.

2. GLOSSARY

Students enrolled

Students who have completed the admission process at an educational institution as at November of the academic year.

Free education

Free education covers public institution providing pre-primary, primary, secondary (including vocational-technical) and special education, as well as private institution that have joined the free education system. Free education refers to the exemption from the payment of tuition fees, service charges including those on enrolment, issuance of certificates, etc.

Type of education

Higher education: Refers to instruction by theory, practice and the like in science, culture and technology; it includes university education and post-secondary education providing associate degree or diploma programmes.

Pre-university education: Preparatory courses offered to students not meeting the entry requirements of higher education.

Pre-primary, primary and secondary education: Refers to systematic education designed and intended for children and young people by which they may progress from pre-primary through secondary education; secondary education also covers vocational-technical education.

Special education: Refers to education designed and intended for students who have special needs, such as gifted children and students with mental, sensory, corporal and communication problems, etc., to cope with their mental and physical development.

Recurrent education: Designed and intended for students who have not attended or completed primary or secondary education at the respective age group.

Enrolment rate

The ratio of the number of students enrolled in a specified educational level to the end-year population of a specified age group.

Age groups are defined as follows: 3 to 5 years old for pre-primary, 6 to 11 years old for primary, 12 to 17 years old for secondary and 18 to 22 years old for higher education.

Class promotion rate/graduation rate

Number of students promoted to the next grade or graduated expressed as a percentage of the number of students at end of the academic year; higher education adopted the graduation rate.

Pupil-teacher ratio

Number of students enrolled per teacher as at November of the academic year.

3. OTHERS

Teachers of pre-primary, primary and secondary education may engage in different levels of education; therefore, the total may not correspond to the sum of partial figures in the statistical tables.
