- Genuine interest in book publishing, strong writing and good interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn - Passion for publicity and marketing through social media will be an advantage
Offered Job Scope:
i) Editorial Assistant
- Support in-house team, writers, photographers, printers, designers and other parties in all activities leading to publication
- Use computers for word processing, desktop publishing and email - Assist with book promotion in social media platforms
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
ii) Business Assistant (Sales & Marketing, Rights & Permissions)
- Support the business operation including duties in Hong Kong Book Fair 2015 - Obtain rights to use materials from other publications
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned
Employment Period: 2 months from June to August
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (one hour for lunch time) Working Location: The Chinese University Press, Lady Ho Tung Hall, CUHK Remuneration: HK$0
