• The average price per square metre of usable area of existing residential units grew by 9.7% quarter-to-quarter, on account of an increase of 13.7 percentage points in the proportion of higher-priced new residential buildings built within 5 years (27.8%). Meanwhile, the average price of pre-sale residential units rose by 3.2% quarter-to- quarter.

• Analysed by statistical district, the residential units in NATAP had the highest average price per square metre (MOP146,481), followed by those in Coloane (MOP128,871).

 A total of 3,593 building units and parking spaces were purchased and sold at MOP20.05 billion in the second quarter, up by 94.2% and 90.1% respectively quarter-to-quarter.

 Purchase and sale of residential units increased by 1,346 quarter-to-quarter to 2,725 units, and the total transaction value surged by 103.2% to MOP16.90 billion.

Number of existing residential units transacted went up by 1,171 to 2,357, amounting to MOP13.76 billion, up by 113.8%. Moreover, transaction volume of pre- sale residential units expanded by 175 to 368 units, and the transaction value grew by 67.0% to MOP3.14 billion.

 The overall average price per square metre of usable area of residential units increased by 7.5% quarter-to-quarter; the average prices of those in the Macao Peninsula and Coloane rose by 11.4% and 1.6% respectively, while the average price of those in Taipa fell by 3.4%.

 The average prices per square metre of industrial units and office units rose by 7.5% and 0.4% respectively quarter-to-quarter.
