第二節 建議
一、 對經營公民科學團隊的建議
雖然一開始招募參與者時,會有人因為認同團隊的理念而加入,儘管剛開始草創的 時候什麼補助也沒有,但因為期待能夠改變些什麼、做些什麼而加入。所以並不會去計 較辛苦或是做很多的成本效益的評估。然而當發現與自己的目標產生出入,或是沒有看 到實際問題解決時,就會開始有退出的念頭或是暫停投入自己的時間。
因此公民科學的行政團隊要能適時的給予回饋、分享研究成果與訊息給參與者,讓 他們感受到被尊重、感謝以及了解自己在大團隊中扮演的角色,會讓參與者得到很大的 鼓勵而願意繼續幫忙。
二、 未來研究建議
(一) 應強調參與過程中知識的學習與獲得
「想要知道更多」一直是公民科學常被提起的參與動機,因此把公民科學的參 與過程式為一種學習歷程來說明並不為過。在過程中有所收穫這件事也占有很大的 影響力,由於參加者多是成年人為主,都是帶著既有的認知加入。在本研究中多以 參與者自述的方式表達,實際上提升了多少則不清楚,未來可以藉由量化研究的方 式參與過程中知識的學習與獲得實際量測之後續研究。
(二) 量化歸屬感與效能感
對於團隊的歸屬感以及認為解決方案是否有效的效能感,在長期參與公民科學 行動是很重要的影響因素。透過質性研究的結果發現有這種關連存在,但兩者之間 的關係卻無法明確知道,建議進行後續之量化研究。
