第三節 後續研究建議
面板產業為寡占市場且根據五力分析得出之結果,產業容易受到業內競爭 者的行動影響,加上對買方的議價能力容易受到終端產品的銷售狀況的影響。
過去中國大陸崛起,持續在興建高世代的面板廠,瞄準主流消費性電子用品市 場,隨著產能提高及良率上升,市場開始供過於求,日本退出大尺寸面板、三 星退出LCD 產業,一度讓市場供需回穩。友達也是從 2014 年漸漸將收益來源 轉往商用型面板,在2018 年時更提出最適規模策略、智慧投資、技術創新三大 發展方向。然而,2018 年以來面板業的局勢相對比較混亂,蘋果 iphone X 的 大量OLED 面板訂單帶動產業開始轉型,許多 LCD 製造公司將廠房改建為 OLED 廠,一度紓解 LCD 面板供過於求的狀況,然而此現象又會維持多久?在 面板產業持續的動盪不安,我國面板雙雄又是有何作為呢?因為面板產業的發 展競爭鮮少只在兩家企業間發展,多半是所有廠商互相牽制或與下游廠商之間 的影響,故後續研究者可以利用Chen(1996)「競爭者分析與廠商間對抗的整合 性架構」為主,本研究之複合式架構做為輔,針對面板產業後續的發展以動態 經爭理論進行更詳細的探討。
另外,本研究在進行產業變化趨勢的分析時,僅依照五力分析所探討之影 響較大的力量作為納入外在因素的標準,但是並不代表其他因素完全不會影 響,五力分析中沒有探討到的部分,像是政策面…等,可以配合其他產業分析 架構來進行全方位的分析。
