第三節 後續研究建議
本研究受限於人力、時間及研究範圍僅能以 1993 年至 2013 年 SSCI 與 A&HCI 所收錄之文獻為研究資料，加以分析臺灣各大學社會科學領域生產力概 況，加以分析各領域生產力、單一作者與多作者比例，被引用情形與機構間之合 作，為研究仍有不足之處，茲列出以作為後續研究之參考。
一、擴大研究範圍
本研究對臺灣各大學社會科學領域相關科系產出作一探討，研究範圍僅以 SSCI 與 A&HCI 作為研究來源為限，因此未來可針對不同資料庫文獻範圍如 SCOPUS、SCI 等資料庫，加以擴大以求得更完整臺灣各大學社會科學領域學術 生產之全貌。
二、分析學術特性
本研究將社會科學領域分為 21 類進行分析，未來研究可將各領域學術生產 特性進行分析，可了解在不同領域間其生產特性為何？各領域間高產出機構整體 生產概況為何？可作為不同領域、不同性質學校之發展重點。
三、探討學術影響力
在整體社會科學領域學術生產力中，計算各領域生產力概況，以引用數而言 高產出其引用總數較高，但各領域間其學科差異，其引用情形不能單以數字上之 高低進行解釋，因此未來研究可從領域中文獻被引用情形為何加以分析，以探討 各校、各領域間真正的學術影響力為何。
