第三節 研究限制與未來研究建議

一、研究限制

由於本研究問卷設計中對於防禦型印象管理戰術的探討乃採用模擬情境的 方式進行,且問卷中情境設計皆統一為應徵者面臨面試官質疑其在校成績的表現,

而該情境設計屬於應徵者能力層面的質疑,但在實際的求職面談中,應徵者受到 的質疑不一定僅來自能力層面,可能是個性、臨場表現或是道德方面的質疑,本 研究為求統一情境設計,在此部分可能稍損真實性,無法涵蓋可能的層面。

二、未來研究建議

本研究中僅探討自我監控特質對防禦型印象管理戰術選擇的影響,Gardner 與 Martinko(1988)曾提出四個影響個體使用印象管理戰術的人格特質,分別是自 我監控能力、馬基維利主義、社會認可需要(needs for approval)與社會焦慮(social anxiety),建議後續研究能將其他人格特質納入探討,驗證其他的人格特質對防 禦型印象管理戰術的選擇影響為何。
