第四節 結論

由本研究結果發現,企業透過董事會創造的資產性連結與知識性連結,特別 是知識性資源連結為企業所帶來的資源,以及加速內部資源擴散的效應,對企業 的成長是有顯著幫助的。而董事會的角色定位,對於董事會連結所帶來資源,所 能發揮作用的多寡,亦有重要的影響。本研究發現,董事會角色為合作型時,能 正向增強董事會連結所取得資源,對海外成長的影響。資產性連結部分,雖然結 果不具統計顯著意義,然而由於整體模型依然成立。表示雖然資產性資源在理論 上可以經由市場機制無限取得,但對缺乏資源的台灣企業而言,透過資產性資源 連結取得必要的資產性資源,依然是成長所必須的策略行動。本研究認為,幫助 台灣企業在缺乏專屬性優勢的情況下,依然得以進行國際化成長策略的主要原因 在於,台灣企業懂得利用透過董事會建立連結,取得原本不足的資產與知識資源,

以支援企業的海外成長。

對台灣企業而言,鄰近最重要的境外市場即為中國大陸,文化距離與地理距 離的接近使得台灣企業前往中國市場時,無須像其他國籍企業在中國市場面臨嚴 重的文化考驗,對台灣企業而言,中國市場也因此不完全是個海外市場,然而兩 岸特殊的歷史與政治背景,讓中國市場的不確定來自於商業領域之外的影響,這 使得台灣企業面臨特殊且持續存在的不確定。為求穩定的海外成長,台灣企業必 須同時重視對其他海外市場的經營。本研究結果顯示,台灣企業能夠藉由董事會 網絡關係的建立,取得資源,克服海外成長所面臨的障礙,此結果可供其他同樣 在缺乏資源下仍然想以國際化做為成長策略的企業參考。
