授 課 目 標 ： We now know that complex microbial communities are intimately involved in the geological processes of the earth. Conversely, mineralogical and geochemical factors exert important controls on microbial evolution and the structure of microbial communities.
Therefore, the class is designed to provide students with a solid background in the science of geomicrobiology that prepares the student for further course-work and practical applications.
