*whoever 的兩種用法：名詞子句 vs. 副詞子句
whoever anyone who 例：Whoever breaks the rule will be punished.
no matter who 例：Whoever breaks the rule, he/she will be punished.

現在相反：Were it not for the rain, we could go on a picnic now.
過去相反：Had it not been for your support, I couldn’t be a doctor now.
I couldn’t have entered medical school then.
