VISITOR ARRIVALS
March 2013
Visitor arrivals increased slightly by 1.6% year-on-year to 2,387,281, with same-day visitors accounting for 51.0% of the total.
In the first quarter of 2013, the growth in visitor arrivals narrowed to 1.9% year-on-year.
Mainland visitors totalled 1,431,810, with 40.7% travelling to Macao under the Individual Visit Scheme.
The average length of stay of visitors stood at 1.0 day, with overnight and same-day visitors staying 1.8 days and 0.2 day respectively.
