二、教學目標二、教學目標 (Objective)

1.認知面：[使學生理解、應用、分析、綜合、比較、推論、評估本課程之理論與概念]：

For students to improve their knowledge of English in the workplace. Specific attention is given to focusing on specialist vocabulary and being able to use English in real work situations.

2.技能面[使學生能獲得運用與實做本課程理論與概念之技巧]：

a. Students will be able to speak confidently in a range of work related situations. b. Students will learn interpersonal skills for business. c. Students will practice and understand basic business writing.

3.情意面[能引發學生對本課程之興趣，激發學生學習動機，增加觸類旁通與自主學習]：

Task based learning focusing on the four skills with a strong focus on speaking and listening. Special attention must also be given over to making students feel comfortable as many may feel overwhelmed when using everyday English let alone business English.

Students will spend approximately two weeks on each topic based unit with additional focus on outside readers. Students will listen to real people talk about their work in commerce and pay special attention to the specialist vocabulary used in business. The course will also be strengthened and reinforced by online interactive exercises found at Business English Pod-Intermediate
