Quantum index of exports edged down by 0.1% year-on-year on account of a 12.9% drop in that of domestic exports. Unit value index of exports rose by 0.9%, and the value index of exports grew by 0.8% year-on-year.
Quantum index and the unit value index of imports increased by 26.2% and 0.8% respectively year-on-year, bringing the value index of imports up by 27.2%.
Terms of trade index, calculated as the ratio of export unit value index to import unit value index, was 99.8, up slightly by 0.2% year-on-year.
