Visitor arrivals totalled 2,445,876, down slightly by 0.8% year-on-year and down by 7.1% month-to-month. Overnight visitors rose by 5.3% year- on-year while same-day visitors dropped by 5.6%. The average length of stay of visitors increased by 0.3 day year-on-year to 1.2 days; overnight and same-day visitors had an average stay of 2.2 days and 0.2 day respectively.

Visitor arrivals by land and by air increased by 8.6% and 12.1% respectively year-on-year. Meanwhile, visitors arrivals by sea decreased by 17.4%, with those arriving via the Inner Harbour falling significantly by 60.3% due to the suspension of ferry services at this terminal starting from mid-January.
Visitors from Mainland China edged down by 0.7% year-on-year, with those travelling under the Individual Visit Scheme rising by 2.6%. Visitors from Hong Kong decreased, while those from the Republic of Korea and Taiwan registered increase. Long-haul visitors from the United States and the United Kingdom also went up year-on-year, whereas those from Australia saw decline.
