22 December 2011 Hi Tom,

I am in Australia with my parents.

We visited Train World. There were many old and new trains. We went inside an old train. I sat on the driver’s seat and my dad took some photos of me.

We had an adventure on a new train. It went up a hill and crossed a bridge. When it went very fast down the hill, some children were afraid and cried.

I was tired but happy. I bought a key ring.

It is for you.

Your friend, Mary

Friday 8 June rainy

Our school had an English Fun Day today. My classmates and I went to the School Hall to play English games. Some Primary 6 students were helpers and they showed us how to play the games.

Peter and I joined a spelling game. He made many mistakes but I did very well. I got some sweets and we shared them.

We did not like the matching game. We had to match some words to pictures. It was not difficult but boring.

We liked the reading game. I was slow when I read out the sentences. But Peter was very quick. He won the first prize. Miss Wong gave him a photo album. He can put his photos in it. We had a good time.
