(3) abstract In addition to studying the life and music career of Hungarian composer and conductor Antal Doráti (1906-1988), this thesis also explores the relationship between the oboe and the orchestra by analyzing the music and using the basic structure of the orchestral sound. “Duo concertante” music compositional techniques, musical sounds , corresponding to the song and Hungarian music characteristics and the relationship between the performance of the color change. Using the table method to show the musical phrases of each section.The use of fingering table presented to show the overtone fingerings and changes of tone due to alternate fingering. This thesis will attempt to explain the composer's vision using audio and video excerpts. I hope this provides a window into the music of the Hungarian composer Antal Doráti.
