VISITOR ARRIVALS September 2013

− Visitor arrivals increased by 7.9% year-on-year to 2,332,325; same-day visitors accounted for 50.5% of the total. In the first three quarters of 2013, visitor arrivals increased by 5.0%.

− Mainland visitors totalled 1,502,723, with 39.2% travelling to Macao under the Individual Visit Scheme. However, visitors from Japan declined notably by 27.7%.

− The average length of stay of visitors stood at 1.0 day; overnight and same-day visitors stayed an average of 1.9 days and 0.2 day respectively.
