VISITOR ARRIVALS August 2013
− Visitor arrivals increased by 7.1% year-on-year to 2,871,088; same-day visitors accounted for 50.3% of the total.
− Mainland visitors totalled 1,881,588, with 47.5% travelling to Macao under the Individual Visit Scheme. However, visitors from Japan registered notable decline.
− The average length of stay of visitors stood at 1.0 day; overnight and same-day visitors stayed an average of 1.9 days and 0.2 day respectively.
