EXTERNAL MERCHANDISE TRADE STATISTICS MARCH 2015
− Merchandise export and import amounted to MOP1.05 billion and MOP7.18 billion respectively, up by 27.9% and 1.8% year-on-year.
Merchandise trade deficit totalled MOP6.13 billion.
− In the first quarter of 2015, merchandise export increased by 9.2% year-on-year to MOP2.70 billion, of which re-exports and domestic exports rose by 9.4% and 8.2% respectively; merchandise import grew by 3.1% to MOP22.25 billion. External merchandise trade increased by 3.7% year-on-year to MOP24.95 billion. Merchandise trade deficit widened further to MOP19.55 billion.
