EXTERNAL MERCHANDISE TRADE STATISTICS NOVEMBER 2013
Merchandise export and import amounted to MOP746 million and MOP7.50 billion respectively, up by 8% and 17% year-on-year.
Merchandise trade deficit totalled MOP6.75 billion.
In the first eleven months of 2013, merchandise export increased by 9% year-on-year to MOP8.18 billion, of which re-exports rose by 18%
but domestic exports declined by 13%; merchandise import grew by 14% to MOP73.04 billion. External merchandise trade increased by 13% year-on-year to MOP81.21 billion. Merchandise trade deficit widened further to MOP64.86 billion.
