EXTERNAL MERCHANDISE TRADE STATISTICS APRIL 2015
Merchandise export amounted to MOP953 million, up by 15.2% year-on-year; merchandise import decreased by 4.3% year-on-year to MOP6.88 billion. Merchandise trade deficit totalled MOP5.93 billion.
In the first four months of 2015, merchandise export increased by 10.7% year-on-year to MOP3.65 billion, of which re-exports and domestic exports rose by 12.6% and 2.2% respectively; merchandise import grew by 1.2% to MOP29.10 billion. External merchandise trade increased by 2.1% year-on-year to MOP32.76 billion. Merchandise trade deficit widened further to MOP25.45 billion.
