Abstract

The purpose of this research was to investigate the management and user satisfaction in Multifunctional Gymnasiums of Feng Chia University. A total of 400 users were randomly chosen from Feng Chia University to complete a questionnaire of this study. Factor Analysis、Reliability Analysis、Descriptive Statistics、 t-test、One-way ANOVA Analysis of Variance、chi-square tests were used to analyze the collected data. The results are as following:

1. From research, the users of Feng Chia University Multifunctional Gymnasium are in majority male; fourth grade students is seen as using the gymnasium most; as for age, the age of 21-30 uses the gymnasium most; daily pass is used the most often; and most of the members have joined the gymnasium for more than a year.

2. It is found in the demographic statistic, that there is no significant difference from the satisfaction between male and female; however, there are significant differences between various identities of users in the satisfaction of teaching professionalism, equipment management and master planning. The satisfactions between different lengths of membership are most significant, except in the gymnasium quality and types of facility researches. In addition, there are also significant differences in different age of users’ ratification of teaching professionalism, exercising atmosphere and facilities.
