第六章 結論與未來研究建議
第四節 未來研究建議
本研究透過歷史文獻分析法、實地觀察法、焦點小組訪談法三個研究方法，
了解泰北圖書館事業之發展，未來仍有許多相關的研究議題值得進一步探討，
以下列舉之：
一、曼谷與台北市皆為都會區，尤其是曼谷的交通擁塞，讓曼谷市政府投 入因應世界圖書之都的捷運、公車、計程車閱讀運動，並且有出版商 與政府力量的支持，其中一個目的是為了提高閱讀率，從原本的每年 每人閱讀 5 本書至 10 本書，這個活動目前已實施了三年，尚未得知活 動成效。期盼未來能有進一步研究，引以為我國公車圖書館運動參考。
二、泰國國家圖書館清邁分館為偏遠地區中小學進行圖書館活動尚不知是 否有法源或政策基礎，另外，泰國家家圖書館總館與國家圖書館清邁 分館，雖同國家圖書館卻分屬不同區域的文化部藝術司管轄，當初管 轄分屬的原因尚未得到進一步的回覆與說明。
三、由訪談得知，清萊省第三區教育局轄下 50%的中小學未達學校圖書館 標準，不知是否對未達到的學校進行任何補強措施。
四、建議未來研究者可從事鄰近國家的圖書館事業研究，例如：東南亞其 它各國，以便能對國際圖書館學或比較圖書館學的相關研究有更進一 步的了解。
五、國內近年來國際志工交流活動頻繁，希望有志之士能進行更深入的國 際圖書館服務志工研究。
