第三節 研究者的省思
在本研究構想初期，研究者從競技運動與國族論述的雙重脈絡出發，
將新移民女性的休閒性身體活動經驗定位為「社會邊緣議題」，運用新移民 女性獨特的性別、族群、階級認同與流移處境，帶出研究者關切的身體活 動參與議題，藉此展開全民運動政策與民眾現實生活斷裂的議題討論。
在研究執行過程中，研究者從西方健康促進觀點與休閒研究論述推敲 臺灣新移民女性從事身體活動之意涵。此外，研究者也在體育運動的學術 領域中，於分門別類的名詞定義下，捨棄「運動」、「體育」與「身體活動」
等用語，選用「休閒性身體活動」一詞指稱新移民女性的部分身體活動經 驗，藉以合乎學術研究的寫作規範。但是，儘管上述個別學術觀點都能用 來片面詮釋新移民女性之身體活動經驗，卻也將新移民女性的身體活動經 驗物化、切割，用以填充理論範疇（Campbell & Gregor, 2004），未能完整 呈現多元認同連鎖作用下的身體活動經驗。
經歷反覆思考，研究者於資料分析歷程調整詮釋策略，讓新移民女性 的身體活動得以完整呈現，之後再依循「現居地生活條件」、「原住國文化 經驗」與「政府體育政策」等影響層面與過往文獻研究相互對話。在此執 行歷程中，研究者不僅認識到新移民女性參與休閒性身體活動之多樣意義，
特別在西方、臺灣與印尼／大陸／越南的文化差異中，研究者更有機會重 新省思西方知識論述適用於臺灣本土脈絡之議題。
在本研究的參考文獻中，多數來自西方研究論述。研究者在發展研究 問題意識的過程中，曾經試圖從西方婦女休閒觀點與健康促進論述界定新 移民女性「缺乏身體活動」的議題。但是，當西方文化之發展進程成為唯 一的思考途徑，研究者將落入簡單的線性思考，將新移民女性沒有休閒意 願的事實類比於工業革命前缺乏休閒追求的「落後」景象，或者是將西方
時下的健康促進主張視為普世價值，將身體活動視為個人應盡之義務，而
