第五節 研究限制與未來方向

此次研究可能因為 PTG 上升組與 PTG 下降組兩組比例較低,且兩組平均年 齡較高,因此在雙盲抽樣中遺漏,也形成後續研究推論應用上的限制。

Skinner, Edge, Altman & Sherwood(2003) 從現有因應技巧的再分析中,認為 探討探討壓力因應時,應同時考量實例與概念,從人們實際與壓力共處的臨床現 場出發,而不僅是固有概念框架推論。因此,探討乳癌患者在長期慢性壓力下的 心理健康及功能的變化或不變,也須從時間向度考察,才能真正看見壓力因應作 為適應歷程時,其中豐富的內涵。由此,研究認為成長是一個過程、而非結果,

因此建議未來對於癌症倖存者的研究,不只著眼於癌症經驗本身,探討癌症是如 何在現下或是後來的生活脈絡所理解,而共存的癌症意義流變如何牽動自我的流 變,開展出生命的新視野。

本研究認為倖存者的罹癌時間距離可能會影響到生活體驗,本研究訪談時仍 有受訪者處於患者到倖存者的角色轉換過渡時間,尚未脫離積極醫療處置,身體 狀態的尚未穩定也成為變數。若拉長罹病間隔來看,或許可以帶出癌症心理經驗 轉化歷程,開展更為豐富繁變的多元現象。從乳癌患者長期處於不確定感中之控 制的樣態、到疾病、健康與死亡的替代關係,以及生命倫理反思等議題,仍需要 未來各相關領域挹注更多資源與學門領域的協調,進而投入長期系列的深度研究 與精緻觀察。
