Unit 1 How’s the weather?

*Story Time:

1. T shows the pictures to Ss and asks Ss comprehension questions.

2. Have Ss practice the story with each other.

*Teach Vocabulary: cloudy, rainy, snowy, sunny, windy, go camping, go fishing, go

*Activity-The Fast one games 1. Separate Ss as 2 groups.

2. Ask Ss remember the vocs first.

3. Each group send out one student each time and T will show a word to each other.

4. See who can spell the words first then get one point.

5. Let Ss pair work.

*Listen and number(p.12-13) HW: Copy Unit1 vocabulary*5

*Review the sentence patterns and make sure everyone can read

*Chant-Let’s Go Shopping!

1. Read the chant together.

2. Give the word cards to Ss.

3. Let Ss all sing the chant.

4. When Ss hear the word they have in the chant, they have to stand up as soon as possible.

*Song-How Is the Weather?

1. Ask Ss listen and point out the words.

2. Ball game: T passes a soft ball when playing the song. Ss sing together. When the music stop, S who get the ball have to make a sentence with the vocabulary of this unit.

*HW: Write down the chant/song and practice singing.
