EXTERNAL MERCHANDISE TRADE STATISTICS JULY 2015
− Merchandise export and import amounted to MOP947 million and MOP7.27 billion respectively, up by 25.0% and 3.0% year-on-year.
Merchandise trade deficit totalled MOP6.32 billion.
− In the first seven months of 2015, merchandise export increased by 10.8% year-on-year to MOP6.40 billion, of which re-exports rose by 15.3% but domestic exports dropped by 6.6%; merchandise import (MOP49.86 billion) held stable as in the same period of 2014.
External merchandise trade increased by 1.1% year-on-year to MOP56.26 billion. Merchandise trade deficit widened further to MOP43.46 billion.
