- New registration of motor vehicles in May decreased by 33.1% year-on-year, with that of motorcycles and light private cars falling by 17.1% and 54.8% year-on-year but rising by 14.9% and 14.6% month-to-month. In the first five months, new registration of motor vehicles dropped by 31.9% year-on-year. Licensed motor vehicles at end-May totalled 248,576.

- There were 1,244 cases of traffic accidents in May; number of injuries totalled 396, of which 16 were hospitalized. A total of 1,912 traffic casualties were recorded in the first five months, with 4 being killed.

- Commercial flight movements increased by 5.9% year-on-year in May; flight movements to and from Thailand and Taiwan

rose by 18.8% and 17.1% respectively

while movements to and from Mainland China dropped by 6.1%

Commercial flight movements in the first five months increased by 6.7% year-on-year.

- Duration of internet usage rose by 10.4% year-on-year in May, exceeding 100 million hours in a single month for the first time. The cumulative duration of usage reached 485 million hours in the first five months, up by 12.5% year-on-year.
