Course Description and Objectives:
This course aims to inspire students’ interest of observing famous paintings with more attention and to establish their sensibility of associating different art forms.
Many great artists find inspirations in the world of literature; some strive to visualize great literary works like bible or poetry by masters and some get inspired so much by the dramatic world of Shakespeare. Most of the great paintings contain important messages and tell vivid stories. By learning how to decode all these secret messages from the paintings, students also learn how to appreciate art.
