摘要

World Engineering Education Forum 為工程教育界的全球盛事，該會議所屬的 International

Federation of Engineering Education Societies(工程教育國際聯合會)亦為全球工程教育首屈一指的

組織，包含演講、論文發表、組織會議等一共有

89 個場次。本次除了參與 World Engineering

Education Forum 之外，亦擔任該學會旗下舉辦的 11

th

_{Global Student Forum on Engineering}

Education 組織會(Organizing team)成員，協助籌畫學生論壇，本次參與該會議能夠了解目前世界

各國工程教育發展現況外，亦能展現台灣研究生能力及歷鍊。參與該會議才了解到，除了學術界

參與該會議，全球重點工業發展的前幾企業也積極投入人力、物力與財力，主動促進該會議中有

潛力的議題，參與的企業包含了

Dassault System、Airbus Group、Total、ABET、MathWorks、Quanser

及

GE Oil & Gas。特別的是，本次參與學生論壇後，榮幸的當選了全球工程教育學生論壇台灣地

區總招集人，負責該論壇與台灣地區工程教育領域學生的國際合作，期望有這一環合作關係，未

來能對國內的工程教育領域能有所貢獻。

ABSTRACT

The World Engineering Education Forum is the most important conference around the world. The forum

is held by the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) and totals include 89

sessions with speech, presentation, organization assembly. I'm glad to attend the World Engineering

Education Forum 2015 and become the organizing team of the 11

th

_{Global Student Forum on}

Engineering Education. The aim of WEEF 2015 and 11

th

_{GSF not only appear the complex organizing}

ability of the Taiwan graduate student but also sharing the best learning experience in engineering

education. The forum was held by academic societies and major industries around the world. It included

Dassault System, Airbus Group, Total, ABET, MathWorks, Quanser and GE Oil & Gas. Specially, I

gladly be elected the country president of Taiwan, R.O.C.. The country's president is responsible for

international cooperation in the field of education in Taiwan engineering students and desirable to have

this partnership, the future of the country can be able to contribute to the field of engineering education.

會議參與目的

參與本次會議的主要原因是參考了過去幾屆辦理的會議，該會議都有與國際大廠進行合作，

直接結合學術圈的研究發展，直接進行較可行的產學合作，這也是參與該會議最大的原因。猶如

上述，本次除了參與

World Engineering Education Forum 2015，並於該論壇中發表論文成果之外，

亦參與該論壇下的

議擔任該學生論壇的組織會成員，協助該學生論壇的籌畫。此外，本次舉行的兩個論壇，其贊助

的單位如圖 1 所示。

這兩個論壇的主要贊助廠商為

DASSUALT SYSTEMES、TOTAL 及 GE Oil & Gas，皆為目前全球

產業中數一數二的工程相關產業。藉由參與本次的論壇，能夠了解目前這些大型企業技術的發展

及其對於工程教育的投入狀況。

2015/09/15 - 台北出發→香港→蘇黎世

在出發之前，已協助處理

_{GSF 的會議流程、活動規劃，提供建議修改議程，信件來來回}

回不下

50 封信。從中了解到活動相關事務工作相當繁瑣，在處理相關的過程中往往會遇到過去

沒有遇過的問題，一再考驗自我的應變能力，可說是累積了不少經驗。由於台灣未有直飛佛羅倫

斯的班機，因此最後購得的機票需進行兩次轉機(臺北桃園→香港→瑞士蘇黎世→義大利佛羅倫

斯)，前前後後光花在搭機與轉機的時間就約 18 個小時，是一段漫長的等候時間，索性也沒浪費

這一段的等候時間，在候機與轉機的期間，也研讀了參與該會議的相關人等列表，了解參與者的

文化背景與過去的經驗，可說是對於即將認識的人先做一初步了解。因此於台灣時間晚上

7：50

由桃園機場出發前往第一轉機地點-香港，抵達香港後於 23：15 前往第二轉機地點蘇黎世。

2015/09/16 – 蘇黎世→慕尼黑→佛羅倫斯→11

於瑞士時間(GMT+2)06:10 順利抵達蘇黎

世機場，準備等候轉機

07:55 分的班機途中發

現，原訂的班機(LX1678)因為技術維護問題，

預定的行程被取消了。這是第一次遇到的問

題，相當緊張，怕趕不上即將進行的行程，立

即至航空公司櫃台詢問，該班次的旅客也不

少，花了快

2 小時時間排隊，最後排到時，航

空公司說明當天的直飛班機皆客滿，提供了兩

個方案：(1)轉搭乘轉機航班，先至德國慕尼黑

(MUNICH) 機 場 轉 機 至 義 大 利 佛 羅 倫 斯

(Florence)機場；(2)搭乘火車至 Florence，由於

兩個方案抵達時間皆為晚上

8 點至 8 點半，經

過相關考量後，還是選搭需轉機的方案，至少

還可以有

5 至 6 小時時間可以進行學生論壇的

協助籌備工作與欲進行報告的練習。於瑞士時

間(GMT+2)15:25 搭乘瑞士航空班機(LX1108)

前往德國慕尼黑機場進行轉機，抵達慕尼黑機

場 時 已 經 是

16:40 ， 並 於 德 國 時 間

(GMT+2)19:15 轉搭乘 AIR DOLMITI (EN8198)

班機前往義大利佛羅倫斯，最後於義大利時間

(GMT+2) 20:30 分順利抵達義大利佛羅倫斯機

場，但一想到隔天即要開始進行學生論壇的相

關議程，立即搭乘計程車前往會議舉辦的住宿

地點。

或許是因為一直轉機加上時差的關係，原

本預定早上要進行活動細節討論，先向

Rohit

告半天假休息，快中午時才恢復活力，協助學

生論壇的相關活動推動工作。今天主要的活動

是接待來自於世界各地參與活動的

112 位學生

們。晚上所進行的歡迎晚會在

PLUS Florence

頂樓舉辦，這是個設備完善的地點，我們將來

自不同國家的學生們亂數分組，讓他們坐在不

同桌，互相認識彼此建立良好的溝通關係，身

為規畫該活動一員的我也投身在這個活動當

中，與大家相互認識了解，建立彼此友好關係。

該歡迎晚會先給大家自己的名牌以及贊助廠商

TOTAL 提供的提袋與資料，除了餐點之外，我

們也規劃了一個小小的破冰互動遊戲，讓大家

互動。在參與的過程當中發現到，普遍來自於

南美洲國家的學生都相當熱情，來自於印度的

學生在溝通上發現需要多聽幾次才能真正的了

解他們想說的內容是甚麼，強烈地感受到印度

的英文有些特別的腔調，需要一段時間適應才

能了解。

接下來的每一天

AM6:30，我們都有排定一位叫大家起床的 Morning Call person，確保大家都

可以準時的參與以下的會議，這天(9/18)我們先到 European School Economics (ESE)聆聽來自於

Industrial Design Clinic School of MME / Washington State University Pullman, WA USA 的 Dr. Chuck

Pezeshki 所演講的『The Role of Empathetic Development in Engineering Education for Multifaceted

Engineers』，探討工程教育的領域中不同面向所應該關心的議題。

Dr. Chuck Pezeshki 為了讓我們可以更快的

理解相關的議題，特別準備了一個小活動讓我

們進行思考，讓我們分組個別規劃一些工程相

關的任務，並且思考在規畫這些任務的過程中

需要考量到那些問題，而哪些是身為工程師色

所要關心的問題。特別的是，

Dr. Chuck Pezeshki

提到了我們在處理工程問題時，應該考量到

Empathy，而不是一昧的為了精進工程技術，

而忘了科技來自於人性。並在演講中說了一段

讓我印象深刻的話『If there is a Technology

higher

than

Technology,

That

is

not

Technology』。

接下來的議程，是由贊助廠商

盪 ， 這 次 的 主 題 分 成 三 個 組 別 ：

Track 1:

Entrepreneurship in Engineering Education ；

Track 2: Arts in Engineering Education –

STE`A`M；Track 3: Resiliency into Engineering

Education。

中午休息過後，緊接著下午討論，在討論

過程中要求分組的學生們先分別提出自己的

Ideas，然後加以深入探討，一一深入討論該議

題該怎麼實施、有甚麼資源可以使用，並且利

用

10 至 15 分鐘進行分組報告，會中也有

TOTAL 的教育推廣部門派人來了解是否有新

的

Ideas 可以運用在他們的組織內。

接著下午

2 點後的規劃是 Technical Visit，

由於參與學生論壇的人數眾多，無法集中參觀

一間工廠，因此當初在進行規劃時，分了兩個

大組兩個小組，分別參觀

GE Oil & Gas 及一間

紀念教堂，參觀

GE Oil & Gas 是為了讓學生們

了解

GE Oil & Gas 在義大利所做的技術控管與

教育資源的相關投入，而參觀紀念教堂是因為

該紀念教堂裡有擺設所有義大利所誕生的工程

學家，以及介紹這些工程學家的簡歷，讓學生

們了解這些前輩所做的付出及對於工程的執

著。而我的小組剛好是被分到參觀紀念教堂，

在這裡我看到了許多義大利的前輩們，特別是

伽利略，讓我心中有股莫名的激昂與感動。

當天晚上希望所有的學生能夠互相理解本

身國家的文化與食物，因此我們之前討論時特

別規劃了一個

Cultural Night，讓不同國家的人

準備傳統服裝、食物及代表歌曲。比較可惜的

是，其他國家參與的學生非常踴躍，唯獨我國

只有我一個學生參與該學生論壇，雖然如此，

本身準備了非常多的傳統食物、遊戲，讓大家

了解我們的文化背景。但由於場地並不能使用

太晚，因此除了交換禮物之外，介紹自己國家

的食物，當天晚上就結束行程了，或許未來規

畫時可以先了解場地的性質後較能夠有較全面

性的思考與規劃。

緊接著第二天(9/19)的學生論壇才是最高潮所在，每一個 Track 都找了三位評審委員，分別評

估我們每一組的成果，雖然我們這組並未獲得評審委員的青睞，但

TOTAL 的三位 Leader 私下跟

我們討論了一下我們的議題，建議我們可以丟他們公司的教育發展計畫，讓我們也有所安慰。由

於篇幅的限制，也僅僅列出其中兩組我認為概念較為新穎的組別海報。

整個學生論壇的會議在當初規劃時，就是希望能夠將工程教育的觸角向下延伸至學生階段，

因此在學生論壇的規劃上，可以說是與

World Engineering Education Forum 做一個密不可分的結

合，確保學生們能夠全程參與這兩個會議。在整個

World Engineering Education Forum 除了邀請的

演講之外，也安排了學生聆聽相關論文場次的報告，並且彙整於休息時間進行討論，深入了解對

於目前工程教育的發展與研究進展。第一天的

WEEF 會議，除了讓與會的學者與學生們在會議地

點能夠有一個簡單交流外，在

WEEF2015 歡迎晚宴中，也與許多來自不同國家的學者談到話，縮

然我只是博士生，但是與會的學者並未因此而有那種高不可攀的態度。大家都抱持著一種互相尊

重、互相學習的態度進行研究的討論。讓我特別訝異的是，這場論壇竟然如此的嚴防外人入內，

在報到處旁的入口，站著一位檢查身分的人員，只有拿著名牌的人才能入場，說這張名牌是通行

證也不為過了

我的報告則是安排在21日下午17:30-19:00，該論壇在報告處特別強調必須在前3個小時將投影

片先至Slide Center進行上傳，並且於該Center拍攝大頭照後，大頭照以及我要報告的篇名就會直

接傳送至會議場地，並且於會議場地外的電視螢幕上可以看到我即將進行報告，這次過去參加那

麼多次研討會或是論壇沒有遇過的情形，可見真的是一個非常專業的研討會。而我要進行報告的

Chair是來自於The National Distance Education University的Manuel-Alonso Castro Gil，在進行報告

前就有對於該場次Chair背景及其他報告者的內容進行詳讀，該場次在場聆聽的外國學者也相當

多，加上擔任該場次Chair的又是有相當學術份量的教授，相當的緊張。幸好有事前充分的準備與

練習，對於所報告的內容皆有交代清楚，由於報告的內容是Chair的學術主攻，Castro在報告完也

私下給了我一寫小小建議及未來的研究方向，並且向我表示若有意願合作的話，可以進一步與他

聯繫，我相信我會加以把握這種得來不易的機會，當天晚上立馬寫信闡明我的想法，希望能有所

進展。

2015/09/25 – 26 佛羅倫斯→蘇黎世→香港→台灣

從這次出國，了解到下一次的論壇舉辦國家韓國對於工程教育的投入，不只是學者組成學會

承辦該會議，另外也籌組了韓國青年優秀工程師學會承辦學生論壇，回想我國，投入工程教育的

人民組織印象中只有中國工程教育學會及台灣工程教育學會，因此當下就決定回到台灣先行將了

解內政司目前與工程教育有關的學會現況，若能籌組一個青年工程師學會，將有助於國內工程教

育界新血的成長並成為與國際工程教育組織的聯絡管道。

出席會議心得

本次出席會議收獲相當豐碩，未來若能繼續參與該論壇我相信能夠對於本身的會議活動規劃

能力有所精進，此外對於參與該會議的學者、學生們能更有更深固的友好關係。此外在參與

WEEF2015 會議中也認識了許多學者，並且主動了解這些學者所做的相關研究，相信對於往後所

要進行的研究能夠更加的精進。這次參加會議後相信對於自我能力的成長是無庸置疑的，此外也

學習到了在語言溝通不易的狀況下，如何與其他學生進行合作，也謝謝學校給我這次出國學習的

機會，相信若是該論壇有機會可以在台灣辦理的話，自己有足夠能力來承接學生論壇的相關試務

工作，甚至是協助該世界工程教育論壇的籌備。除此之外，還帶回了於該論壇擺設攤位的大廠所

提供相關教育競賽資料於附錄，若是國內學生能積極參與這些教育競賽，將能活耀於國際舞台之

上。

相關建議事項

經過參與

WEEF2015 及 11th GSF 這次會議，列出以下建議供參考：

 國內參加的學生只有我一位，其他參與的教授也是相對少數，希望往後能有更多學生能夠一

同參與這工程教育界的盛事。

 該論壇的場次能說是相當的多，結合了歐美工程教育(IFEES, ASEE & SEFI)的相關學會進行

籌辦，可說是相當具代表性的世界論壇，若是國內有更多的學者、學生一同參與，並且互相

分享與會經驗，必能夠對於目前世界工程教育趨勢發展有所掌握，進而取得突破性的發展。

 擺設攤位中，多數大廠都有相關的教育競賽計畫，這次帶回來的資料也相當多，希望國內學

生也能積極參與這些教育競賽計畫，在國際舞台中展現出台灣學生對於工程教育領域的先進

思維。

 就學生論壇部分，許多國家的學生已經在積極參與該論壇，並存在著良性競爭與合作的關

係，這是我認為國內尚缺乏的地方，若能有更多學生參與該論壇，將可有更優勢的領導權力。

 希望能夠藉由這次機會，回國後籌組青年優秀工程師學會，目前鎖定幾所國內具有領導地位

的工程教育院校學生，期能在學者圈與國際接軌外，學生也能更有國際觀。
