The major objective of this course is to learn the knowledge and concepts of computer hardware and software. Topics such as the
components of the system unit, operating systems and utility programs, communications and networks (including electronic commerce, computer security and safety), programming languages and program development, introduction to database management, information related
issues(include computer ethics, computer certification) , etc., will be covered in the class.
