EXTERNAL MERCHANDISE TRADE STATISTICS JANUARY 2014
− Merchandise export amounted to MOP996 million, down by 1% year-on-year, of which value of domestic exports (MOP168 million) decreased by 7% while that of re-exports (MOP828 million) held stable as in January 2013.
− Merchandise import amounted to MOP 8.82 billion, up by 25% year-on-year.
− External merchandise trade increased by 22% year-on-year to MOP9.81 billion. Merchandise trade deficit totalled MOP7.82 billion.
