EXTERNAL MERCHANDISE TRADE STATISTICS NOVEMBER 2014
− Merchandise export and import amounted to MOP827 million and MOP8.11 billion respectively, up by 11% and 9% year-on-year.
Merchandise trade deficit totalled MOP7.28 billion.
− In the first eleven months of 2014, merchandise export increased by 10% year-on-year to MOP8.95 billion, of which re-exports rose by 12%; merchandise import grew by 11% to MOP81.10 billion. External merchandise trade increased by 11% year-on-year to MOP90.05 billion. Merchandise trade deficit widened further to MOP72.14 billion.
