研究其中一個不足之處。

第四節 未來研究方向

在往後可以研究的主題中,本文認為有三,第一,本研究關注的是,議員選 區的制度與脈絡因素,對於選區投票率的影響效果。國內目前關於地方議員選舉 或地方議員行為的研究仍然較少。然而,在 SNTV 選制下,各個議員選區之間呈 現非常多樣的面貌,究竟選區不同的特徵和脈絡之下,對於個別議員(例如,連 任與否、競選方式或立法行為)的影響效果為何?這是可以進一步研究的主題。

第二,本文的其中一個假設為,在平均同黨候選人人數愈高的選區中,選舉 競爭程度對於投票率的影響效果會更為明顯,換言之,黨內競爭有提升投票率的 動員效果。不過,本研究並無法說明,究竟黨內競爭對於投票率的影響效果較強?

還是黨際競爭的影響較大?在 SNTV 選制之下,這是一個值得討論的問題。

第三,近來,我國不同類型或不同層級的選舉時常會合併舉行,關於投票參 與的文獻中,過去的研究普遍認為在合併選舉時,層級較高的選舉會影響層級較 低選舉的投票率,然而,在什麼樣的條件之下,層級較低的選舉,會刺激層級較 高選舉的投票率?這也是未來可以更進一步討論的議題。
