研究其中一個不足之處。
第四節 未來研究方向
在往後可以研究的主題中，本文認為有三，第一，本研究關注的是，議員選 區的制度與脈絡因素，對於選區投票率的影響效果。國內目前關於地方議員選舉 或地方議員行為的研究仍然較少。然而，在 SNTV 選制下，各個議員選區之間呈 現非常多樣的面貌，究竟選區不同的特徵和脈絡之下，對於個別議員（例如，連 任與否、競選方式或立法行為）的影響效果為何？這是可以進一步研究的主題。
第二，本文的其中一個假設為，在平均同黨候選人人數愈高的選區中，選舉 競爭程度對於投票率的影響效果會更為明顯，換言之，黨內競爭有提升投票率的 動員效果。不過，本研究並無法說明，究竟黨內競爭對於投票率的影響效果較強？
還是黨際競爭的影響較大？在 SNTV 選制之下，這是一個值得討論的問題。
第三，近來，我國不同類型或不同層級的選舉時常會合併舉行，關於投票參 與的文獻中，過去的研究普遍認為在合併選舉時，層級較高的選舉會影響層級較 低選舉的投票率，然而，在什麼樣的條件之下，層級較低的選舉，會刺激層級較 高選舉的投票率？這也是未來可以更進一步討論的議題。
