第五章 結論

第四節 未來研究方向

國內對於存在已久的大考翻譯試題,探討的範圍仍局限在試題內容。本研 究轉而從學習者出發,透過學生翻譯作品,輔以訪談資料,從多方角度探究學 生翻譯時的認知思考過程與翻譯困難。至於翻譯試題的設計,以及高中階段如 何利用翻譯提高外語學習成效,未來還需要更多的實證研究投入。此外,翻譯 與外語寫作能力之間的關係也需要進一步釐清。Wang 和 Wen(2002)發現外 語 寫 作 三 分 之 二 的 時 間 用 在 寫 句 子 (sentence construction ) , 發 想 ( idea generation)的時間不到三分之一,思考篇章結構的時間更是少之又少。如果能 夠透過翻譯訓練增加英文句型的熟悉度,減少翻譯轉換時間,進而減低語言所 造成的認知負荷,再搭配作文技巧的訓練,或許可以提升學生作文能力,這也 是外語教學未來可以研究的方向。
