第二節 研究對象
本研究以隸屬於美國聯邦教育部的 ERIC 資料庫，時間範圍是最早至 2009 年間的領導主題文獻書目資料為研究對象。茲介紹該資料庫如下：
ERIC資料庫
ERIC 資料庫成立於 1966 年，隸屬於美國聯邦教育部，全名為 Education Resources Information Center，目前已收錄 130 萬筆以上的教育類資料，每月更新 其內容，包含各種教育專題，如：高等教育、特殊教育及教育管理等十六種教育 專題文獻，文獻類型涵蓋：期刊文章、會議論文、技術報告、政府報告和圖書等 教育相關資料（漢珍數位圖書，無日期）。ERIC 資料庫具備標題、作者、來源、
敘詞、語言、出版年份、教育階段、出版類型、登入號和目標讀者等欄位資料，
所收錄之文獻範圍與數量均具有一定程度的代表性，因此本研究選擇該資料庫作 為來源樣本，以檢索策略結果得到的書目紀錄檔案進行分析。
（一） ERIC資料庫有以下欄位：
ERIC 資料庫的欄位內容，如表 3-1 所示。其中 AB = 摘要，AF = 單位，
AG =代理商，AN=登入號，AU=作者，AV=可用性，CA =合著作者，CO=原始 國家，DE=敘詞，DN=資料庫名稱，IB=國際標準書號，ID = 標識符，IS = 國際 標準刊號，JI=期刊期號，JN=期刊名稱，JP=期刊頁碼，JV=期刊卷號，KW=關 鍵字，LA=語言，LV=教育階段，NT=備註， NU=其他數字，PB=出版商，PE=

（二） 欄位LV=教育階段之十六種規則
這個欄位是指文獻所針對的特定教育階段。ERIC 資料庫在 2005 年增加這個 欄位，在此之前，這項資訊是以敘詞的方式表示。ERIC 資料庫的教育階段欄位 共有十六種不同的教育階段，茲將其中英文說明條列如表 3-2 所示，表中另有以 下三種符號：

（四） 欄位AV=可用性之三種層級
這個欄位只跟 2004 年以前的資料有關。個人和組織提供給 ERIC 資料庫的 文獻，根據文獻授予 ERIC 資料庫的傳播權限，將可用性欄位分成三種層級，如 表 3-4 所示，茲將其中英文說明表列如下：

（五） 欄位TA=適合讀者之十一種規則
這個欄位是 ERIC 資料庫在 1984 年 1 月所增設，不過只會在作者明確指出 是針對某種適合讀者時才會標明。1975 年 5 月到 1983 年 12 月這段期間的某些 書目，則會在欄位標示「Practitioners」和(或) 「Students」。 ERIC 資料庫的適 合讀者欄位共分為十一種讀者，如表 3-5 所示，茲將其中英文說明表列如下：

Individuals with disabilities encounter practical and social problems beyond those experienced by nondisabled individuals. This extra burden may in turn increase the risk of developing mental health problems.
The objective of this article is to disclose the mental health situation among deaf individuals compared to a control sample of hearing individuals. The analyses are based on two separate Norwegian postal surveys, one among the general population (1995-1997) and one among the deaf population (2001). A shortened version of the Hopkins Symptom Checklist was used to disclose the degree of mental distress among the respondents. Three questions common to the studies were analyzed to determine differences between the two groups. Analyses revealed that the deaf respondents showed significantly more symptoms of mental health problems than the hearing respondents. The results point to the need for focussing more attention on the mental health of deaf children and adults. Society must be made aware of the special risks that deaf children and adults encounter with respect to mental health.
