第五節 研究省思
「謝謝玫馨社工員讓我有機會可以回顧自己已經遺忘的故事。出了社會遇 到更困難的事時，最感謝的還是小時候的這些經歷，讓我覺得自己似乎可以比 別人更堅強。人生還有很多的路要走，但總不會都是崎嶇的，希望自己的過去 可以成為我對未來的動力」。
這段話是其中一位參與者給予我的研究回饋，其實這也是我一直以來希望 傳達給我服務機構中孩子們的理念，我知道我無法改變這群孩子們的過去，我 也知道我無法一直陪伴著他們走未來的路，我能把握的只有當下在機構中生活 的他們，但看過太多關於這群孩子們離開機構後生活狀況的文獻總是負面結果 居多，因此雖然從事兒童安置教養機構社工員已 7 年多，「我能夠為這群孩子們 做些什麼讓他們的未來能夠過得更平順呢」？這個問題還是經常縈繞心頭，因 而，從研究開始，我就一直抱持著這樣的提問，希望能從此次的研究中獲得解 答。
「生命會找到它的出口」，這句經典的電影台詞是我聽完 8 位參與者生命故 事後最大的感觸，我想孩子對於這些參與者而言應該是生命中很大的出口之一 吧！因為孩子，離院生們走出過去那段生命經驗帶來的悲傷、自卑與憤怒，珍 惜當下，並敢於對未來希望，正如同另二位參與者的回饋：「希望像我這樣的人
~往後也是可以過得很好」，「不好的過去不等於不好的未來，他人的嘲笑與誤解 突顯自己的不同，無法跟『大家』一樣，那就學習做自己接受自己」，找到了生 命的出口也才能真正接受了自己不完美的過去。
至於提問的答案，我找到了嗎？我想：是的。訪談過程中，多位參與者們 述及過去機構工作人員，令其印象深刻的往往並非該工作人員提供了什麼樣的 專業資源或協助，而是其感受到了工作人員給予的接受、關心或真誠地分享自 我，這些感受也讓參與者們覺得自己在團體中「被看見」，因而沒有放棄自己。

我想，我找到的答案是，「陪伴」，陪伴孩子們找到自己生命的出口，陪伴孩子 們發展尋找生命出口的勇氣與動能，以及陪伴孩子們漫漫等待生命的出口。
