第二節、 研究貢獻與研究限制
壹、 研究貢獻
本研究貢獻主要有二，第一為研究主題的創新與在地性；第二為方法論上的 質量融合。相關政策再現研究多以類型為主，少以單一主題為研究對象，本研究 因此挑選單一主題研究，期望藉此細膩描繪新聞機構如何因為其新聞場域位置對 單一主題議題的各層面展現不同報導潛能。另外，本研究為研究新聞機構對單一 議題的新聞專業意理傾向，在以 Reisigl 與 Wodak（2009）的論述策略架構分析 主題時，首次嘗試獨立報導標題作為其中一種語料庫，藉此反應一純淨新聞產製 為編輯與記者合力製作之實務情況，再以標題語料庫抓出兩報對此議題的命名常 見詞頻再觀察涵蓋標題與內文的語料庫，更符合研究需求。另外，為確實掌握《聯 合報》與《自由時報》對此政策的立論策略，本研究僅選取兩報社論為文本。
再者，研究主題的在地特殊性可反映《聯合報》與《自由時報》如何深受其 所在場域影響進而展現其報導潛能與傾向。年金改革實為各國修補二戰後所創立 社會保險制度具備內在缺陷的私有化財政政策，近 20 年來已有 88 個國家進行年 金制度轉換，台灣的年金改革推動方與反對方與他國狀況迥異。私有化政策在他 國多由較右傾政黨推動，然而台灣卻因為政治發展脈絡，使得此政策推動方為過 去認為較為左派的民主進步黨，反對方則為過去較認為偏右派的中國國民黨，與 他國狀況明顯不同，具備在地性。《聯合報》與《自由時報》分別與上述兩政黨 關係密切，在此議題也展現立場互換的報導立場。換言之，觀察《聯合報》與《自 由時報》如何建構此福利私有化政策受影響者的正負面形象，即為觀察兩報如何 受限於其在地性新聞場域的位置，兩報在一般報導上恪守抽離看門狗新聞專業意 理，在社論部分則顯現轉型國家新聞機構具備的倡議性，並因其新聞機構內在結

構與外在政治及商業市場考量，對此政策的各形成時期與各面向具備不同報導潛 能。
最後，以語料庫分析抓取報導文本觀察字及關鍵字作為批判論述分析依據，
不僅可處理大量文本，可彌補批判論述分析文本過於主觀獨斷的缺點（郭文平，
2014）。以本研究為例，國民黨為《自由時報》與《聯合報》在此議題上明顯不 同的關鍵字，如觀察單一文本，僅可發現此詞彙多與立委姓名構連，惟透過語料 庫分析發現此詞彙在兩報語料庫間具備顯著差異性，尤其在《自由時報》的語料 庫內此詞彙為平均散布於各時期、在《聯合報》則集中於相關法案送入立法院時 期，可推論《自由時報》高度政治化此議題。
貳、 研究限制與未來研究建議
本研究限制在於，雖然 Mellado（2016）認為可從新聞報導內容判斷一新聞 組織的新聞專業意理傾向，研究單一主題更可闡述一新聞機構在政策形成期間的 各種論述變遷，但卻難以解釋此動態變化，如可適時訪問關鍵文本的記者、編輯 及社論撰寫人，則能更加了解新聞從業人員如何因應組織要求展現其報導專業傾 向。另外，如以政策形成週期切割語料庫將更能發揮語料庫結合歷史途徑批判論 述分析之既見林又見樹的優點。
再者，受限於研究時間及人力，研究期間僅挑選年金改革委員會召開會議、
行政部門草擬法案及立法院三讀通過年金三法時期，並僅挑選對此政策報導數量 前二高的《聯合報》及《自由時報》對此三時期的報導，亦未處理兩報對後續政 府推動軍人年金改革的報導論述。軍人年金改革仍持續進行，社會上亦有聲音要 求立法院審查《勞工保險條例》修正草案，如能比較兩報對四大職業年金改革的 報導，能更細膩闡述兩報對此政策的論述及策略，這是本研究未盡之處。
