第五章 結論與建議

第三節 研究限制與建議

因本研究限於資料收集與研究期限等因素,對於研究內容尚有許多再精進的空 間,故本研究提出未來後續研究可以延伸探討以下之建議與重點:

第一,因資料收集的內容屬於學校不願對外公開之相關經費或績效數據,以及 迫於研究期限之故,造成調查資料時許多學校尚未統整完畢 2011 年度相關數據,因 此皆可能造成填答數據與實際情況上之落差,產生偏誤之情況,建議未來研究可以 經由相關單位取得實際數據或是拉長研究問卷調查之期限以降低此情況。

第二,因本研究僅以量化研究來探討影響大學創新績效的因素,未來建議可輔 以質性研究法,如採用深度訪談與觀察,或以專家焦點團體法等質性研究來加強研 究結構與推論,其結果將更具有說服性與代表性。

第三,因本研究僅調查 2011 年的數據作為研究分析,未來建議可採用累積較長 的年度數據加以分析,其結果將更能顯示我國高等教育產業化之成果與趨勢發展的 狀況,因為研發成果可能具有時間的遞延性,如專利獲得數、智慧財產衍生收益與 新創公司家數等,可能從申請、推廣、移轉到最後成為大學創新績效之數據可能需 要超過一年的時間,因此若僅以一年的數據來推論可能較不完善。

第四,本研究為簡化分析,未進一步分析探討專利之新發明、新型與新樣式不 同類型的差異、智慧財產衍生收益之授權金、權利金不同收益類別的差異,以及新 創公司家數之有技術移轉、無技術移轉不同形式的新創公司差異,未來建議可以更 進一步深入分類探討之。

第五,因本研究僅以我國大專校院為研究主體,建議未來研究可加入具有產學 合作關係之企業組織一起作研究調查,檢視產學合作方的企業研發人力、研究經費 與產學關係對於組織創新績效是否具有正向影響關係,作交叉驗證其差異性。

第六,可針對大學智慧財產管理單位的營運績效為切入點探討研究,因有些產 學績效頂尖之大學的智慧財產管理單位獨立經營運作且盈虧自負,其營運績效遠優 於其他多數智慧財產管理單位,因此其經營成功模式可作為其他大學智慧財產管理 單位的借鏡與楷模。

第七、因本研究對於大學研發人力僅針對大學教師的部分作探討,未來建議可 納入博士生與博士後研究員作為大學研發人力之變項參考,以檢視其影響程度與差 異性。

最後,面對全球經濟不景氣與大環境的變化等影響的因素是否會影響企業與學 校的合作行為,甚而影響大學創新績效之表現,本研究沒有將經濟與環境等可能干 擾變項納入考量,亦值得日後觀察與探討。
