提高當前的海外經營的廣度及深度,藉以將自身的競爭優勢擴大、鍛鍊的更 紮實;此外,根據本研究發現,過度而盲目的國際擴張,將會漸漸出現負面 效果,當然國際擴張有種種的好處,但本研究也發現,過度擴張可能會發生 組織內部的問題像是資訊不對稱導致難以掌控實際營運狀況與效果、管理複 雜度提高難以整合,或是無法適應當地環境造成無法發揮集團優勢,以及當 地市場的不確定及風險等等,都可能會為集團帶來負向效果,因此在國際擴 張時,應該小心謹慎,隨時做好適當的防護措施,可能的話,可以尋求當地 市場經驗較豐富的跨國企業或當地企業為合作伙伴,幫助企業適應並符合當 地法規與商業習慣,皆是可緩解過度擴張引發的負向影響,並可透過與夥伴 合作,促進集團取得當地市場知識與技術創新提升之來源。國際化對於創新 的影響,對企業而言,屬建立長期競爭優勢的深遠策略規劃議題,而非只有 一般財務上的提升,台灣處在國際環境激烈的競爭洪流中,唯有持續不斷透 過各種方式維持創新的泉湧川流不息,才能在國際市場中保有領先地位。

第三節 研究限制與後續研究建議

第一、關於創新程度之衡量,本文是已核准的專利數量衡量,但有很多情況 下,企業為了保護特殊技術,不願公諸於世因此沒有申請專利,故專 利數量可能會被低估,因此後續研究可以採用更多面向的衡量方式為 創新程度之指標,可彌補過於單一、狹隘的衡量方法。

第二、企業集團的樣本選擇,僅取自1996 年及 2000 年國際化程度等資料 完整度夠高者,但仍然有許多企業集團值得納入,是故部分影響了本 研究推論的一般化,後續研究若能克服資料完整性的問題,研究結果 將更加具周延性。

第三、本研究樣本期間為1996 年至 2000 年,為了避開前後重大事件的轉

變造成之影響,期間只涵蓋5 年,未來的研究若能延長樣本期間,將 其他應考量的因素涵蓋,研究結論應當較為穩健。

第四、關於集團之國際化程度的衡量,本研究只採用海外子公司數量佔集團 總子公司數量之比例,但國際化程度之衡量方式上有很多選擇,後續 研究若以更全面性的衡量方式,研究結果應當能夠更周延。

第五、集團國際化對國內市場創新的影響不顯著的因素除了本研究的推論 外,可能還有其他無法預測的因素,是量化研究可能無法達成完美的 缺失,因此未來研究若能配合個案研究,彌補此缺失,或許能使結論 更強而有力,更具說服力。
