III. Purpose In this course, we seek to study the philosophical underpinnings, historical development and political background of the EU language policy. Through lectures and discussions, this course will help students to think critically with an independent working mind and research capability. Comparative methodology via nihilism, monism, dualism, trilogy will also be discussed.
IV. Content Week 1. Introducing the course and evaluation method. Assiduous attendance and Active participation are encouraged. Eating, noising or sleeping during the class is highly disrecommended.
