培養具備健康與長期照護政策、產業及機構管理專業，兼富人文關懷與國際視野之卓越人才。培養關懷民眾健康、創新健康產業的卓越人才。

本課程的目的在探討社會保險制度的基本概念，並以社會保險中五大保險為主軸，探究制度內涵與各國實際現況，修畢本課程，同學將瞭解： 1.社會保險的基本觀念、種類及如何解決人類生活的問題與因應需求。。 2.社會保險的發展與制度內涵。
