(5) A Study on the Relationships among Job Stress, Emotion management, and Teaching Effectiveness of Pre-school Special Education Teachers Abstract The purpose of this study was to understand the current situation of pre-school special education teachers’ job stress, emotion management, and teaching effectiveness. Specifically, a self-developed survey was conducted to learn the relationships among the teachers’ job stress, emotion management, and teaching effectiveness, and to determine the influence of teachers’ demographic variables on job stress, emotion management, and teaching effectiveness. A total of 206 participants were issued in this study, 175 were found to be valid. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression analysis. The results are revealed as followsǺ 1. The current situation of pre-school special education teachers’ job stress tends to “stressful” level. The stress from interpersonal relationship is higher in which. 2. The pre-school special education teachers have a positive or consent attitudes on emotion management. Emotional awareness is better in which. 3. The pre-school special education teachers have a positive or consent attitudes on teaching effectiveness. Teaching plan and material’s presentation are better in which. 4. There is a significant correlation between the pre-school special education teachers’ emotion management and teaching effectiveness. And it is moderate correlation. III.

The pre-school special education teachers’ job stress and emotion management have predicting power for the overall teaching effectiveness, and ‘work load’, ’emotional awareness’ and ‘emotional adjustment’ are significant predictor variable. The joint predicting power is 34.6%. Finally, discussions and implications for teachers, administration unit of school and future research were provided.
