第五章 研究結論與建議

第二節 後續研究建議

本研究以實驗的方式,證實探索式學習應用在適地性歷史回溯遊戲之正面 學習成效,發現出新的現象。然而在研究過程當中,研究者發現還有許多變項 以及發展可以討論,會造成學習保留現象的原因,或許不止只有組織知識過程 的因素存在,可能比研究中所想像的還要複雜許多。以下將分為「個人特 質」、「延後測間所進行的動作」、「學習前後情況對於學習成效的影響」以 及「增加樣本數」來描述。

一、個人特質

在研究中,並沒有將個人特質的因素放入考量當中,但或許個人特質會影 響探索式學習或記憶式學習的適合性,有些人可能在探索式學習的學習成就表 現比較好,但有些人可能已經非常習慣於從小到大的記憶式學習;又或許在這 兩種不同的學習策略中,有些人比較擅於獨立自我學習,而有些人比較喜歡小 組協作式的學習。以上這些因素,或許都是使探索式學習的學習成效產生變數 的原因,可以在未來的研究當中,繼續深入探討。

二、延後測間所進行的動作

學習保留的情形發生,除了可能和有無產生組織知識的過程相關外,還可 能具有學習動機方面的因素存在。學習者因為進行此適地性歷史回溯遊戲後,

或許做了某些加強記憶的動作,如翻閱相關書籍、或是向朋友進行討論等等,

因而造成較為良好的學習保留的情形。而學習者在學習完後,究竟做了什麼動 作,也是一個未來可以繼續深入研究的方向。

三、學習前後情況對於學習成效的影響

在遊戲進行時,若前段時間或是後段時間,有任何事件會使學習者的態度 或是體力受到影響,則可能導致學習成效和想像中的有所落差。以本研究為 例,若學習者被預先告知遊戲活動結束後,幾個小時將進行期末測驗,可能會 使得學習者心不在焉,甚至對於遊戲感到不耐煩,使得遊戲的學習成效不彰。

因此學習過程的前後,已經進行、或是將要進行何種活動或動作,對於學習者 之學習成效所造成的影響,則是可以繼續探討及研究的方向之一。

四、增加樣本數

在研究過程當中,樣本數不足會造成學習成就分析的結果不顯著,無法有 效幫助研究結論產生,因此會建議後續研究者增加研究的樣本數,使得結論產 生更為容易。
