第三節 研究限制
本研究樣本全部取自國內某醫學中心之醫療復健中心和職業重建中心,此 中心特色為專門治療手部外傷,為首屈一指之國際型中心,其治療團隊專精於 肢體外傷之顯微重建手術,雖然收案較容易,但研究樣本之受傷嚴重程度較 Urso-Baiarda 等 (2008)研究樣本嚴重,復工時間卻較其預測短少許多,顯示本 研究職業傷害致前臂和手外傷勞工,在醫療穩定準備復工時間較其他研究提早 許多。但研究樣本大都屬於極重度類別,輕度、中度和嚴重度的樣本數偏少,
樣本在各嚴重程度之分佈不一致,研究對象的特質是本研究最主要限制,可能 造成手外傷嚴重程度不影響復工之推論困難。
由於研究目的為探討階段性工作準備模式之準備復工期,職業傷害勞工致 前臂或手外傷自行復工之可能性,收案標準為有意願復工,且準備復工,橫斷 性研究,為了方便取樣,有些樣本可能在收案前已自行復工,或者已自行復工 沒有再到醫院治療等等因素,致使本研究可能隱藏研究對象流失的限制,無法 收集短時間復工之樣本。
