第三節 電子書 C: C INDERELLA
Cinderella 一書從經典童話「灰姑娘」所改編，2011 年 Nosy Crow Limited 製作，於 iTunes App Store 推出，此電子書獲 獎無數，如KAPi Award for Best Children’s eBook, FutureBook Innovation Award—Best Children’s App, 2011 Editor’s Choice Award—Children’s Technology Review, Parents’ Choice Award 金牌獎等。
一、 綜合分析
在本研究中，相對於其他三本電子童書，本書的定位屬於高「互動性/查找」x 高「參與創造 / 遊戲性」之組合。
本書改編自家喻戶曉的童話故事，因此兒童對於本書的故事有很高的熟悉度。在設計上，本書也豐富的整合了聲音、
影像、與各種互動元素。除了點按人物時，會出現該場景下特定的對白，人物或物件也會有不同的動作反應，增加讀者的投 入程度外，在互動設計上大多數的頁面都必須完成活動才能夠進入下一頁。亦即，讀者往往必須依據指定的線索去搜集到指 定的物件，而在正確選擇或錯誤選擇時，也都會給予不同的聲音回饋。這些設計符合本研究中所定義之「會影響內容的呈現 方式」之互動層次，而在查找的特性上也符合第三層次的「必須找到該頁多項線索」。在參與創造的設計上，本書充分利用 了 iPad 的前置攝影鏡頭，將讀者的影像投影在電子書中的鏡子裡，使得讀者成為故事中的一份子。此外，讀者在閱讀的角 色上，並非單方面的接收訊息，而是往往要扮演協助灰姑娘的角色，例如：要幫忙灰姑娘將盤子放到水槽中，或是要去幫忙 搜集到神仙教母所需要的道具等等，這使得在遊戲的特性上，又加上了角色扮演的參與性。這使得本書呈現出參於創造的特 性，並且在遊戲性上屬於層次三的「具有明確的扮演或任務，挑戰性中等」。
本書的缺點很可能在於在每一頁都提供了非常多的資訊與線索，使得讀者往往會分心，而不是專注在故事脈絡的閱讀。
同時，也很可能會因為這個複雜性，使得兒童感受到過多的認知負荷。同時，在有些頁面上，指導語在英文的難度上可能偏 高，也會產生一些混淆，或者不容易理解的地方。

Poor Cinderella had to clean the house all day long. She had no nice loghes and was covered in dust and dirt from working in the kitchen.
Cinderella Cinderella 到髒處會掃乾淨；

It’ll all fall down!；

Those two stepsisters are very impatient.

Now Cinderella lived in a country ruled by a king, and the king had a son who was a good and gentle prince.
King:
It’s time you got married. I’ll give a grand ball so that you can meet all the young ladies in the land.
King:
We’ll need lots of ice cream.
Just a few more invitations to write.
I don’t know half of these people.
All this writing makes my hand ache.
I need to send out hundreds of invitations.
Well, you are very organized. （當將亂丟的信放置左 側整齊堆疊後出現）

Stepsister B:

邀請函最初是拿在Stepmother 手中，當對話一直展開，邀請函會在 Stepmother 和 Stepsisters 中間傳來傳 去；

Stepmother 和 Stepsisters 的對話中，一 再提醒讀者注意在畫面中的鏡子反映 出來的影像，提醒讀者可以將自己融 入到故事之中； Maybe they will serve chocolate ice cream – It’s my favorite.
If I marry the prince, I will get a pony
I do hate dancing, though.

Stepsister A:
It’s a good thing that I have just had my hair done.
I might wear my tiara!
Just look at our lovely mirror.

They made so much noise, that Cinderella came in from the kitchen.

You don’t know how to dance, Cinderella.
Your hair is too messy, you know.
The prince will only have eye for me.
Nosy Crow:
Poor Cinderella, her stepsisters are so mean to her.
You are good at finding me.
Well done, you found me.

On the night of the ball, Cinderella had to help her stepsisters to get ready.
Cinderella:
There’s so much to do.
I’m fed up with all these running around.
Aren’t parties just about having fun?

After everyone had left, Cinderella cried and cried because she really wanted to go to ball herself.
Fairy Godmother:
I am your fairy godmother, and I am here to make your dreams come true.
Let’s go into the garden
We’ve got lots of things to find.
Cinderella:
You scare me.
What a surprise!
The palace is too far away.

With a wave of her wand, the Fairy Godmother turned the pumpkin into a beautiful carriage, two mice became prancing horses and the third mouse, a coachman.

This looks lovely.
Coachman:
東西收集齊全後，需點選Fairy Godmother 手中的魔法棒，剛剛的物品會變成一輛豪 華的馬車，兩匹駿馬和一個車夫。
