課程目標

本課程內容主要介紹目前正在發展中的大都會行動通訊技術WiMAX。同時 藉由WiMAX技術的介紹，連帶得也稍微簡介一下與其相關或相互競爭的幾 種同樣是處於正在發展狀態的行動通訊技術。其目的主要是讓同學們能對 現 在 正 在 發 展 的 所 謂 第 四 代 行 動 通 訊 (the 4

Generation Mobile Communication)有概略性的認識與瞭解。

(2) 簡介 WMAN (Overview of WMAN (WiMAX)) (包含 IEEE 802.16 固定式 與移動式 MAC 與 PHY 的規格)
