Guidelines for ePoster & Video Posters

Theme: Safe Maternal and Newborn Care | World Patient Safety Day 2021 Deadline for submission: 08:00 (UTC+8), 16 September 2021

The objectives of World Patient Safety Day are to increase public awareness and engagement, enhance global understanding, and spur global solidarity and action to promote patient safety. Recognizing patient safety as a global health priority, ASQua supports the WHO campaign. We invite you to submit your poster abstracts according to the theme for this year’s event: Safe Maternal and Newborn Care.

EPoster

1. Document must be a pdf file – we suggest creating the document in PowerPoint and convert it to a pdf.

2. Size limit is 10MB.

3. Landscape format (16:9) is the format required as is easier to be viewed on screen.

4. ePoster dimensions 1920 x 1080 pixel or 47.9"(121.7 cm) by 27.0"(68.6 cm) are going to be used.

5. Number of pages/slides: one.

6. For embedded images use .jpeg or .png formats. Please be mindful of any copyright issues of photos.

Video Posters

In addition to showcasing your work as an ePoster at the forum, authors are invited to produce a short video in which the presenter discusses the nature and impact of their research/ project illustrated on their ePoster. In producing a video abstract, authors are asked to adhere to the following basic guidelines:

1. Video abstracts should not last longer than 3 minutes.

2. Set the video format to the highest available quality and film horizontally not vertically.

3. A video abstract should be based on the poster’s abstract

4. Inclusion of relevant material such as images, animations and/or clinical footage are encouraged.

5. If including a video on an intervention, patient consent will be required.

6. Please do not use any copyright material for example, music within your video poster.

Submitting Your Poster

Please email to asqua@asquaa.org and make sure the following info include in your email subject:

1. The event title “2021 WPSD poster”

2. Main presenting author’s full name 3. Abstract title
