第三節 研究缺失及建議
台灣格林文化曾經翻譯數本彼德席斯的作品，包括他的自傳畫冊《夢想的金 鑰匙》，協助筆者在蒐集作者資料時有極大的幫助。但《三支金鑰匙》、《天諭之 地》已經絕版，只能在網站找到二手書，因此一開始所蒐集的多半以原文版為主。
資料分散，台灣或華文資料較少，近期也沒有在台灣出版新的作品；彼德的個人 網站、部落格與 FB 更新速度較慢，除了新書資料、分享以前作品，沒有其他活 動訊息，因此只能從網路新聞上尋找蛛絲馬跡。所幸現代網路發達，許多報導及 訪問都會放在網路上、YOUTUBE、FLICKR，連得獎感言都有，但避免找到的 資訊不正確，以記者親自訪問的報導為主，若網路影片內容不夠清晰也不會當作 參考資料
。
蒐集資料時發現台灣碩博士論文沒有人研究彼德席斯，只有兩三則期刊論文 提到席斯的作品，根據格林文化出版《夢想的金鑰匙》裡有關他歷年作品與得獎 經歷的資料，製作成附錄表格；另外本論文著重在席斯的自傳性繪本上，主要從 他的背景與作品的關係談起。針對他整體作品上的論述較少，也極力地將網路上 蒐集到的資料與照片都放在附錄，希望能對未來研究者有些許幫助。書裡有關地 圖、權力的關係非常明顯，他與詩人傑克培盧斯基（Jack Prelutsky）四度合作，
也幫其他作者畫過詩集的插畫，由於篇幅與主題的影響，沒有在此多做介紹，對 這方面有興趣的研究者也可朝這方向進行探討，筆者想一定可以有更多更有趣的 主題值得深入探討研究。
